While looking at I-Mei’s travel pics I couldn’t help but reminisce about my very own youth. I think I might start a new blog about mid life and all the joy and struggle that come with it. Maybe share some lessons I’ve learnt along the way. Anyway, I took this photo outside the Chanel store in Melbourne. One of many photos standing outside one Chanel store or other. I think I must like their storefronts. Anyway, I was musing about how I used to wonder how old people feel. Well now I’m older I have some answers. And I speak for myself when I say that while a lot changes, a lot remains the same. And while I’m rambling , this ol gal has a tiny bit of advice for you. How fun, I’m old enough to do that. Never regret. Make your choices carefully and then do the best you can. Life is short and it is long. It is wide and it is deep and it is high. And it is enough. Don’t take yourself too seriously. And definitely don’t try to control anything because frankly , you can’t. Live deliberately and pay attention to all the details. GIve when you can. And give thanks always. It is seriously all good.
Oh, and cherish your spouse. Just as God made Eve perfect for Adam, after who knows how many thousand years of waiting, He made your partner perfect for you.

So I love this floral vintage paper so much. Brand new from crate paper and a few people, including me are thinking of sticking it on our walls. Although I’m sure that wouldn’t get the go ahead from spouse. I cut up a few pieces of paper and ‘randomly’ (of course) placed them and it looked fine to me, so that was it. Can you believe, no greatly detailed dimension of any sort. Simple must be the new thing for me. Every item I used here is from Crate’s random collection except for the bit of bling down on the right, which is from Prima. I love the retro stickers which look like I used a Dymo label maker. The bicycle with the lace wheels is a die cut from the kit and also comes in chipboard. I want to stick that on my wall too!

So there you go. A simple layout that will not take too much of your precious weekend and some life updating sprinkled with some rambling.
Thanks for stopping by!

My favourite quote is "art helps me breathe!". I love creating, decorating and beautiful things. Right now inclined towards vintage...
you can stick whatever you want onthe wall.
