Here are the first of the Lost & Found Two projects. I made the first card for Philip, as usual struggling to make a masculine card . When I was done I made a second similar card for the store. It’s hard for me to express the emotion attached to this simple card. Maybe two words. Celebrate. Thankful. Hmm, maybe those words fall short.

Ming came home for a movie date with Papa. While I worked last night , Philip went through a couple of his titles from his neglected DVD collection. There were a few nice meals involved. Simple things, =)

 

Birthdays often bring us to a contemplative state. I told a young friend yesterday that time passes quickly. His girlfriend was leaving to continue her studies. TIme will quickly pass and they will soon be together again. I wonder if in time he will wish that time didn’t pass so quickly.
It’s rainy today. You can hear water splashing on the sidewalk as cars go by. Proof of life. I’m wishing that all of you will have the time to listen. To observe the little things. To suspend busyness, even long enough to think of one reason to celebrate. One reason to be grateful . To notice that it’s cooler today. To realize that time passes quickly, yet slowly enough.
