Not sure why yellow is creeping into my projects again. Must be a longing for the sun and being outdoors. You have to admit that this cheery color is a happy little one. I have 2 cards to share, one , although sunny & bright , wishes a special someone goodbye. Karyn has a penchant for happy things and I thought this card would appeal to her sunny disposition. I hope she won’t mind my lack of sewing skills, I will try to sharpen them by next summer. But I do love the look of stitching on paper. I think it lends a little bit of vintage to a bright colorful project

On top of sewing skills, I might need some photography lessons too. =) I printed out this photo of I-Mei and matched it with a sheet of 7 Gypsies. This gal loves ‘collecting.’ (wink) There were so many phrases on the sticker sheet but the one that said it all was the little black strip on the side that says “how am I going to get it home?” Fitting it all in a traveling bag has got to be one of her assets. The yellow swiss dotted card stock worked very nicely with this floral print from Crate Paper’s Portrait collection. And all the antique lace trim were part of the treasures that she brought home. I think I’ve done me enough yellow for a while. Tomorrow, I’m going back to pink!

My favourite quote is "art helps me breathe!". I love creating, decorating and beautiful things. Right now inclined towards vintage...
